The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Editorial Assistant in the History Anthropology and Philosophy Department on the Dahlonega campus. The Graduate Editorial Assistant will assist with the Mongolian Studies: The Journal of the Mongolia Society. Work can be performed remotely, but occasional face to face meeting might be necessary (not just Zoom or Teams). This position will not include a Tuition Waiver. 

  • Reading manuscripts, copy-editing, proof-reading, and identifying books for review. 
  • Also formatting manuscripts for publication.
  • Additional associated tasks will vary based on week and ability.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style/Turabian Footnotes essential.
  • Bachelor's degree required. 
  • Must be currently enrolled in graduate program.
  • Microsoft office/Google suite experience required.
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator preferred.
