Job Description

This position will assist with all transition programs including Start Sooner, Class Council, and Crimson Commitment as well as Transfer Programs. As the graduate assistant, this role will heavily focus on student development and student transition programs, especially with first-year students. This role will additionally support transfer programming during Camp Crimson, and general support of the transitions team. Weekly, there are a few events during early evening hours every week, such as executive team meetings, peer mentor training, and special events. This role is flexible in timing but will follow a weekly, recurring format most of the time.

**If hired, the incumbent is guaranteed to work 20 hours per week with a biweekly pay of $867.69. The incumbent may request permission from the Graduate College and their supervisor to work 27 hours per week with a biweekly pay of $1,214.77.

Required Education: Current master’s degree-seeking student enrolled in a combination of two terms at the University of Oklahoma. Preferred program: Master’s in Higher Education, Clinical and Mental Health Counseling, or similar. 

  • Must attach Spring, Summer, and/or Fall class schedule
