Job Summary
Auburn Athletics is excited to begin the search for a Graduate Assistant to apply functional knowledge, skills, and abilities from the educational program related to the administration and coordination of physical and psychological impacts of exercise and nutrition!

Essential Functions
  • Technical instruction, demonstration of technique and skills, motivation, development of discipline testing and evaluation of athlete’s performance related to area of strength and conditioning.
  • On floor supervision of the weight training facility for safety, motivation, technique in program, adjustments relative to all student athletes who utilize the facility.
  • Oversee maintenance and upkeep of facility and equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled as an Auburn University graduate student and registered for classes during each academic term of the assistantship

Expectations:
  • Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified Certification (SCCC) or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) required.
  • Some evening and weekend hours required
  • Strong organizational and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet established work deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • NSCA certified
  • 1-2 years of experience in a collegiate setting
Pay Rate $1,235.00/month
