Job Summary
Position provides the student with an educational experience in which they apply specific learning such as functional knowledge, skills, and abilities, gained from their overall educational program, whereby: ∙ ≥ 60% of the student’s duties and responsibilities are directly related to the program of study, and ∙ ≤ 25% of the student’s duties and responsibilities are administrative/clerical in nature, i.e. event setup and takedown, filing, copying.
Essential Functions
  • Assists in designing and delivering global cultural education programs and classes, pre and post assessments and feedback, updating course content, and staying current with research and development in the field.

  • Provide support and guidance to students, identify subject matter experts and practitioners, and facilitate connections to enrich class content and focus.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled as an Auburn University graduate student.

  • Admitted to a graduate degree-seeking or certificate program.

  • Registered for at least one course (anything carrying an Auburn University course number) during each academic term of the assistantship.

Expectations:
Must be proficient in instructional design technology, and methodologies, and developing and maintaining databases. Must have experience and be comfortable interacting with multiple perspectives and identities.
Preferred Qualifications
Grant and proposal writing experience is a plus. At least a master’s degree is desired.
Pay Rate $2,000 - $2,500/month
