The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant, Baseball on the Dahlonega campus. Assists the Head Baseball with daily operations of the UNG Baseball program. This position will include a tuition wavier.
- Assist with daily practice.
- Assist with recruiting.
- Assist with baseball game day management.
- Assist with maintenance of baseball field as well as baseball portion of Coleman Fieldhouse.
- Assist with community service activities.
- Assist with fundraising.
- Assist with analytical statistics and operations of technology such as Trackman and PlaySight camera system.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Head Baseball Coach regarding the baseball program.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Overall knowledge in the game of baseball.
- Strong communication skills both oral and written.
- Must currently have, or will obtain by the start date a Bachelor's Degree.
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of six graduate credit hours by start date.
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certifications required.
- Experience playing/coaching at the collegiate level required.
