Grader | Ecology & Human Impacts Lab

Job Summary:

The Department of Environmental Science is looking to hire one grader for the Ecology and Human Impacts Laboratory taught by Prof. April Randle.

Full Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for grading weekly lab reports and helping on some field trips if available.  It would be especially helpful if this person can drive a university vehicle, but it is not required.  The instructor will provide necessary guidance on the grading. It is anticipated that the grader will work an average of 5 hours per week at $18.07/hr. Grading will be primarily completed online using the Canvas system. Prompt response to submitted material and posting of grades is essential (less than one-week turnaround is expected). Grading for the lecture portion of the course may include some grading from the lab portion of the course, but not to exceed an average of 5/hrs/week.

If interested, please submit a brief resume and a short statement discussing your qualifications for this position to April Randle at [email protected]. For those already working a university job and considering applying for this position as well, please note that your total work limit is 25 hours/week. The intent is to hire a qualified grader as soon as possible, and applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
