Vaccination Requirement

The University of Nebraska Medicine Center (UNMC) requires COVID-19 vaccinations for all students, staff, and faculty. All employees must be fully vaccinated unless they have requested and been approved for an exemption based on a recognized medical reason, a sincerely held religious belief, or a pre-approved, 100% remote work agreement. Fully vaccinated means having received one dose of a single dose COVID-19 vaccine (Johnson & Johnson) or both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccination series (Moderna and Pfizer).


As a prospective and/or a new employee at UNMC, you will be/are required to comply with the UNMC’s vaccination protocol. Position Summary
GME: Primary coordinator of one or two accredited educational programs that combine a total of at least 14 trainees. 
*This position may require working from Children’s Hospital and Medical Center at least one day per week. 
-Oversees and coordinates activities and ensures requirements are met related to institutional, program and board certification requirements. 
-Acts as liaison between education program authority and recipients. 
-Manages recruitment, application and orientation process. 
-Responsible for management of revenues and expenses. 
-Performs other duties as required in a competent professional, respectful and collaborative manner. 
-Under limited supervision, plan, organize, implement and facilitate administrative activities for the Anesthesia House Officer education program. Facilitate application process, ensure accreditation with program standards and maintain clinic rotation schedules, requiring a high degree of work
complexity.
