Job Overview

Reporting to the Director, Foundation Fund Administration, the Gift Fund Financial Analyst is in integral member of the Foundation Fund Administration team.  The Gift Fund Financial Analyst will collaborate with Foundation staff, auxiliary accounting, donor stewardship, Financial Aid office, and campus partners to directly support the fiscal management and monitoring of philanthropic gifts in accordance with donor intent and within institutional policies and procedures. The incumbent will perform regular reconciliations against the institution's general ledger through the tracking and accounting of philanthropic donations in the Raiser's Edge database. Will perform expenditure reviews to ensure the accurate allocation of philanthropic donations across Foundation accounts that support programs, endowments, and scholarships. Will perform financial transfers as appropriate. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and updating data related to the Foundation's fund through project agreements. Will work with the Director to prepare endowment, program, and scholarship reports and helps to administer gift fund policies. Independently performs research, formulate, and presents data analysis, financial reports, and recommendations to management. Will use professional concepts, applies organizational policies and procedures to resolve various issues.  Assists the Director of Foundation Fund Administration with special projects as assigned including presentations, reporting, policy/procedure/guideline development, and drafting/editing documents. 

Position Summary

Gift Fund Financial Analyst (Administrative Analyst/Specialist Exempt I)

This is a full time, exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

In addition, 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $4,170 - $5,170 per month

CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,170 - $7,545 per month
