Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to bend, stand, stoop, crawl or smell and access small areas as needed.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify and tag equipment and furniture according to the State guidelines.
  • Deliver packages and capital/bulk items to various on-campus and off-campus sites for the University.
  • Load and unload large bulky items on and off delivery trucks.
  • Ensure that time-sensitive packages are logged and delivered.
  • Check vehicle for operating performance and complete vehicle reports daily.
  • Organize packages to coordinate with delivery locations ensuring that all deliveries have proper attachments and notations.
  • Assist with filing duties and documentation of various purchase order items.
  • Assist internal and external customers with tracking packages.
  • Perform all other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
