Eligible for Kansas medical license.

Required Qualifications
Education:

  • MD or foreign degree equivalent to an MD

Work Experience:

  • Two (2) years of training in a neurology program.

Preferred Qualifications
Skills:

  • Good written and oral communication skills.

Job Duties:

As a staff physician, this position will support the Department of Neurology as follows:

  • Assist in the general neurology clinics, hospital rounds, teach medical students, and neurology residents and fellows.

  • Supervise neurology residents in the hospital wards and in the general neurology clinic.

  • Perform monthly resident continuity clinic supervision.

  • Teach medical students on the wards and in clinic and provide occasional lectures to medical students.

  • Pursue scholarly activity in the areas of general neurology disease.

  • Meet with patients in the outpatient neurology clinic.

  • Other duties as assigned.
