Job Description

Student Assistants in the Circulation Area help to provide customer service and maintain the library’s collections and spaces. All student workers must be able to uphold the Friends University Mission Statement and RISE values.

We are looking for students who are service oriented, strive for excellence, are open to continuous learning, and have a high level of accountability. Students must be able to work with a diversity of people in a team environment, multi-task and be productive in the face of distractions, take ownership of their roles and tasks, and welcome constructive feedback.


Skills & Requirements

Good time management, excellent customer service skills, interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written skills, multitasking ability, and ability to work in a cohesive team

 

This position will work during weekends to start, with the possibility of weekdays and evenings in the future. Scheduling is discussed during the interview, and confirmed before the start of the semester and/or summer.

Desired start date is January 17, 2023, with the understanding that employment would continue through the entire academic year.
