Job Description
The Office of Inclusion and International Student Services is tasked with providing leadership to the Friends University community in embodying the RISE value of inclusion by helping to build a campus that draws strength from its diversity, is willing to engage in difficult conversations, and loves all its people well. The Inclusion and International Student Services Assistant will assist the Director by managing social media posts, marketing of events and services, creation of new events and services, the operation of the Inclusion Lounge, and other duties as assigned. This role comes with a fair amount of independence and creative input in how the office goes about serving the campus community, as such, the role requires that the person inhabiting it has passion for serving others, compassion and empathy for those who are walking through difficult circumstances or who are far from home, an accepting and open-minded spirit, and an earnest desire to build up those around them.
Skills & Requirements

Customer services skills, good communication skill, punctuality and reliability preferred, proficiency with social media. Experience in service-oriented roles and/or event planning preferred.

Start Date Desired:  02/01/2023

10-25 hours per week, schedule negotiable
