Job Summary/Responsibilities
Provide UNF affiliates access to information resources at the Thomas G. Carpenter Library by performing various functions such as the following:
- Staff service desks;
- Assist patrons in accessing materials online;
- Answer general questions via phone, email, and in person at service desks;
- Scan and shelve library materials;
- Assist with shifting and collection maintenance;
- Assist with library outreach events;
- Additional tasks as assigned;
- Position may involve lifting up to 30lbs.
Required Qualifications
Must be a currently enrolled UNF student who is eligible for and accepts Federal Work Study (FWS) funding.
Must have received a Federal Work Study Award Letter for this current academic year.
Must be able to work Mondays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for spring semester 2024.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic library skills
- Available to work ten to twenty hours per week.
