Position Summary
This position primarily maintains, oversees, and reports financial accounting data for the Center’s state budget of $2 million, as well as the Center’s specialist for faculty salary support, effort certification process, and MOUs.
The position plans, integrates and directs broad and complex functions such as financial and personnel management, across various types of accounts. The processes that this position manages requires a high-level of understanding of all other fund types including grant, state, Med Foundation as it requires team interaction in the accounting department.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in accounting work; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to write precisely and clearly.
Proven analytical and reasoning abilities, experience in evaluating complex requirements and regulations.
Thorough knowledge of and skill in applying generally accepted accounting principles.
Directly related experience with computerized financial reporting and analysis systems.
