Summary of Job Duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Screen and enroll students (Intake Process)
Administer pre- and post- assessments to students of T.A.B.E. or Oral Best
Input student records into online data management system
Manage LACES data system
Student records management
Answer phone and disseminate program information
File papers
Copy materials
GED Proctor
Work closely with WAGE Coordinator, Instructors, and Career Coaches
Manage all GED scores and records.
Administer TABE, Post TABE, and Readiness tests
Attend required professional development
Work closely with testing center staff
Complete all other job duties as assigned by Director

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with I O's and I00's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Computer skills: data management; internet; email; MICROSOFT Office. Office Machines: copier, fax, SCANTRON, phone system, laminator. Phone skills.
