The Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de México, through the Department of Social Sciences and Politics, invites interested persons with solid training and experience in the theory and methodology of social anthropology to apply for a full-time academic position in the Department of Social Sciences and Politics.
Job requirements
- PhD degree in social anthropology, with proven capacity for interdisciplinary work and dialogue.
- Demonstrate solid and innovative theoretical and methodological training and practice, including the use of new technologies.
- Positively evaluated teaching experience at university level in formal academic programs.
- Have original scholarly production in prestigious journals and publishers or demonstrate the ability to do so.
- Demonstrable ability to manage academic programs or willingness to assume such management functions.
- Demonstrable willingness to work as part of a team and to contribute to the projects of the University and the Department of Social and Political Sciences.
- Preferably belong to the National System of Researchers of CONAHCyT.
- Demonstrate a research agenda that integrates the participation of the Department's student body and results in products with academic impact at the national and international level.
- Demonstrable ability to obtain research funding.
