University Counseling Center Student Receptionist Position

Job Duties:

  • Answering phone calls on a multi-line phone system
  • Scheduling counseling appointments
  • Filling out excel spreadsheets
  • Scanning documents into electronic medical record system
  • Taking messages for counselors
  • Assisting the office manager with other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a student that can work during the Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters.

Job Requirements

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.


  • Must attach Spring, Summer, and/or Fall 2024 class schedule.

Skills:



  • Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, multi-line phone system, and scanning.
  • Ability to multi task and stay organized.
  • Friendly and attentive.

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Might need to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to engage in repetitive motions; grasp objects with fingers or hands.
  • Communicate, including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others.

Department Preferences:

  • Previous experience in an office setting.
