Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Football Chief of Staff is responsible for the daily operation of the football office and it's administrative function within the EKU athletics department.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: · Three years of experience in football operations, athletic administration, coaching collegiate football, serving as an athletic graduate assistant, and/or participation as a student-athlete at a collegiate or professional sport level. NCAA Division I FBS or FCS experience preferred.· Must demonstrate knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations.

Licensure & Certifications: Valid drivers license

Job Duties:

  • 35% - Oversee and supervise the day-to-day administrative operations of the football program, including direct supervision over all football administrative staff and major components such as compliance, alumni relations, high school coach liaison, development, - (Essential)
  • 20% - Serve as the liaison to athletics administration and administrative departments such as compliance, human resources, communications, ticketing, business office, Worn Cleat Club, Matter of Pride Boosters (development and alumni relations). - (Essential)
  • 15% - Work closely with Development and Alumni Relations offices on fundraising endeavors • Create and execute programs to cultivate relationships with football alumni • Oversee departmental communication to alumni and donors - (Essential)
  • 15% - Assist with all football events including, but not limited to, camps, clinics, official and unofficial visits, and development/alumni gatherings. - (Essential)
  • 10% - Assist the Director of Football Operations with team travel - (Essential)
  • 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. - (Essential)
