Assists with gameday strategy, analytics, stats, pre-scouting, and other gameday operational activities.

  • Pre-scouting- researching/studying tendencies for opposing  teams.
  • Travel with team for away games.
  • Maintain and update football computer database. Attach opponent data to video to allow assistant coaches to efficiently view  opponent video.
  • Administrative duties as assigned by Head Football Coach. Set ups practice schedules, designs and implements day to day  practice schedules and coordinates all time management matters  for all camps.
  • Chart and record play calls and opponent play calls.
  • Provide assistant coaches with statistical data complied during the game.
  • Adheres to the strict confidentiality of personal and academic data  pertaining to each student-athlete. Responsible for direct interface  with the athletic department's academic support unit and resultant  availability of confidential personal and academic data pertaining to each student-athlete.
  • Ensures the athletic department is in compliance with all  institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations,  including the development and implementation of procedures by  which compliance will be determined and documented.
  • Maintains confidentiality for the department. Treats with utmost  confidentiality and sensitivity any matter pertaining to medical,  academic and personal data of student athletes and any  information either directly or indirectly impacting the University and/or Athletic Department.
  • Adhere to all State of Florida, University, NCAA, Conference USA, and department rules and policies pertaining to the position of  Director Sports Information. Report any known NCAA violations or  concerns to the Director of Athletic Compliance and be responsible for the monitoring of any subordinate as it relates to NCAA  regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The  omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from  assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

 

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate specialization and one (1) year of experience; OR five (5) years of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Administrative

  • $40,000 - $45,000

End time: 5:00 PM

  • Ability to travel locally and nationally.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends and at locations outside of the University
