Job Summary

Project Coordinator (Project Policy Analyst I) works within the California Early Psychosis Training and Technical Assistance Center. The Project Policy Analyst I plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and progress of our grantee Technical Assistance (TTA) plans and serves as an authority on county progress towards TTA plan goals, including training, staffing, and general progress. Assists UCD and collaborating team members with the implementation, operation, and data collection for EP programs, and ensures the programs receive specialized training to provide high quality, evidence-based services. The Analyst performs a range of duties, including scheduling meetings, sending communications, tracking training attendance, organizing calendars, creating meeting agendas and taking meeting notes, conducting site visits, collaborating with county partners, and other administrative tasks.

Writing samples may be requested for use in the screening process; assessment of writing skills may be included as part of the interviewing process.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with project coordination, including monitoring progress toward deadlines and ensuring goals are met
  • Writing skills to initiate, compose, word process, format, proofread and edit various professional documents and correspondences for distribution to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated ability and experience with managing calendars and schedules and coordinating meetings, events, and logistics
  • Knowledge and experience with online meeting platforms, such as Zoom, Skype, or Microsoft Teams
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with various software programs such as Word, Excel, Slack, and Planner (or other relevant project management software) in a professional setting. Demonstrated ability to learn new platforms and software
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and record actionable items and other tasks from meetings and meeting notes, and to follow up on outstanding tasks

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual language skills (use in professional settings) are preferred to assist in dissemination of materials in multiple languages as well as to support engagement of diverse community partners
  • Experience and working knowledge of mental health practice, research, and/or science
  • Lived experience as a  consumer of mental health services or  support person of someone with mental health challenges

 

 

Department Description

The Early Psychosis Clinical and Research Program seeks to provide training and technical assistance (TTA) as well as outcomes data collection support to early psychosis (EP) programs across California. This program involves collaborations across the state as well as with other US and international entities.
