Are you ready to make a daily difference in a young child’s life? South Dakota State University (SDSU) is excited to hire a part time Food Service Worker position for our SDSU Early Learning Center. This position will provide management and support for hot meal service to 110 children within the Center, while maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
Knowledge of:  
  • Nutritional services
  • Customer service

 
Skill & Ability to
  • Complete simple math.
  • Lift at least 20 pounds.
  • Follow state licensing regulations and food service regulations.
  • Communicate and work with young children with various personalities and behaviors. 

 
Preferred qualifications:
  • 3 years of food service experience
  • 3 years of direct customer service experience
  • Experience on a University Campus

 
Required License:  Valid Driver’s License 
 
Comments:  This position is classified as Teacher Aide. South Dakota State University is a tobacco free environment.
