Title:  Food Service Associate- Dishwasher
Location:  Lindner Center of HOPE
Department:  Food and Nutrition Services
Shift:  10:30 am-7:00 pm
Hours: 40 hours week
 
Position Summary:

This position performs routine tasks under immediate supervision and in support of the Lindner Center of HOPE (LCOH) food service operations.  The FSA Dishwasher is responsible for trash, cleaning pots and pans, kitchen equipment, dishes and maintaining a clean work environment at all times.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Retrieves, collects and transports food service supplies, equipment and refuse as directed.

Sorts and rinses dishes and silverware; operates and unloads dish machine and stores clean items; inspects washed items for cleanliness and breakage.  Records dish machine temperatures.

Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to established cleaning schedules. 

Empties trash containers regularly.

Maintains assigned work area in a safe and sanitary condition.

Assists on tray line by preparing beverages for patient trays and delivering carts to units.

Maintains tray line and prep area by cleaning, sweeping and mopping.

Maintains proper sanitation of work area and performs additional cleaning assignments as designated.

Other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

 
Position Qualifications:

High school diploma preferred.

Basic food knowledge and prior food service experience is preferred. 

Must be able to read invoices.

Must be willing to work weekends and holidays

Must have strong customer service skills and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently
