Work in installation, maintenance, repair, and alteration of campus floor coverings. Maintain and repair various types of carpeting, vinyl, rubber, ceramic, wood, and baseboards. Removes existing floor coverings and installs new floor coverings. Responsible for installing masonry blocks.
Minimum Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED with 6 months to a year of experience in installation and repair of floor coverings, wall tile, and masonry.  Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record. 
Preferred Education and Experience
OSHA 10-Hour Training
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Install and repairs flooring, carpet, vinyl, rubber, ceramic, wood.
Repairs to flooring substrate.
Repairs to walls.
Repairs to stairs and steps.
Assist with painting and carpentry, and other duties as assigned.

REMOTE WORK NOT AVAILABLE – A remote work schedule is not available for this position.
May be required to report to on-site work location during campus closure.
May be required to report to on-site work location during inclement weather.
