UW Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced part time (90% FTE, 36 hours per week), day shift FLOAT NURSE to join our Acute Care Float Pool. This individual will provide float coverage to all of our acute care floors, including medical-telemetry, ortho-neuro, and surgical services.

SCHEDULE
The Float Nurse will work 12 hour day shifts, 36 hours per week. The day shift runs from 7:00am - 7:30pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Float Nurse, you will work collaboratively as part of a professional medical team that includes doctors, social workers, care managers and therapists. You will work to restore the patients’ health by following evidence-based nursing practices and managing complex health issues. The Registered Nurse will identify care needs, monitor and administer medications, and administer intravenous infusions to optimize the patient’s recovery to health.
