- Description
- On West Kentucky WMA and Doug Travis WMA -Performs maintenance work on equipment and facilities. Assists biologists and other professionals in the execution of their duties. -Interacts with public as assigned by supervisors. -Learns to operate heavy and technical equipment at fish hatcheries and wildlife management areas. -Learns to collect data concerning fish and wildlife and to prepare reports. -Assist in the performance of soil and water tests and plants and cultivates agricultural crops -to serve as food for wildlife. -Assists in the creation and/or restoration of terrestrial and aquatic habitat through environmentally accepted construction and development practices. -Assists in the identification and marking of boundaries of habitat and department held lands.
