Fiscal Officer to provide a broad range of accounting and fiscal services to the Department of Psychiatry, and its research division under the direction of the Finance Manager; responsible for supporting day-to-day administration of departmental policies and processes relating to fiscal activity including journals, deposits, transfers, payroll, procurement, inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, and grants management; establishes and maintains a financial and operational processing environment to ensure adherence to internal control structures and compliance to fiscal policies, procedures and regulations; participates in the development and administration of annual operational budgets for assigned accounts; reviews, reconciles and analyzes monthly and year-end financial statements; initiates and processes journal entries and fund transfers; prepares for and participates in audits of departmental accounts and ensures compliance with local, regional and national research fiscal and regulatory requirements; monitors and ensures appropriate retention of fiscal records; other related duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field, and 4 years of financial management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required; knowledge of accounting principles and applications required; quantitative skills, research and Workday experience preferred
