The Psychology Department, within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks a Financial Operations Analyst to join our team. The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college and the academic heart of the university. The College hosts 81 majors. The financial operations analyst implements fiscal processes and procedures that ensure adherence to appropriate internal controls and compliance with established policies and procedures; prepares interpretative reports; implements and manages all costing allocations and period activity pay, payroll accounting adjustments for Psychology, Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Brain Imaging (CCBBI), Center for Cognitive and Brain Sciences (CCBS); works with CCBBI and CCBS staff to monitor earnings and annual budgets; works with grant manager to monitor and implement off-duty pay structure and entry; audits for compliance and approves requests for payments; enters journals; manages monthly payroll reconciliation; Manages development funds (TAS), Strategic Planning with administering funds/Scholarships; works in conjunction with the department Administrative Manager to analyze costs and expenditures and prepare fiscal projections for use in determining budgets for CCBBI and CCBS; escalates all unresolved financial issues or concerns to the Administrative Manager; serves as fiscal contact person for all payroll activities; researches and resolves faculty, researchers, staff, and lecturer fiscal and payroll accounting; maintains and verifies fiscal records; serves as point of contact for all contracts; disseminates financial policy, process and procedural information; represents the department and attends appropriate college and university meetings as necessary; oversees faculty recruitment and graduate recruitment; monitors graduate recruitment Reimbursement; responsible for operations email account; provides fiscal back-up coverage of Administrative Manager as needed; works productively as a team member to support all business and academic operations; performs related and/or additional job duties as assigned by direct supervisor and/or Administrative Manager.

Minimum Education Required - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Education - Master's Degree with a major in accounting or finance

Required Qualifications - 2 years of relevant experience required; proficiency in Microsoft Office required; extensive knowledge of university policies and procedures desired.


Additional Information:

The pay range for this job profile is $49,800-$66,400. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
