Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | This position is through the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology located in Baltimore, MD. The Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology (IMET) seeks to hire a Financial Coordinator to assist the Assistant Director of Research with financial administration of grants and contracts. The primary duties include to process and verify accuracy of financial transactions and ensuring compliance with various federal and state policies. This role will also track subcontract invoices, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other routine administrative office tasks. The successful candidate will be an important member of HAB-CTI project and will assist with project coordination, in areas of finance and accounting as part of regular duties. This position is a contractual II position, renewed annually depending on funding. |

Additional Information: | This position is through the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology located in Baltimore, MD. This could be a hybrid position, but located within the region. The salary range for this position is $50k-55k, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Candidates must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the USA. No visa sponsorship is offered for this position. This position offers excellent benefits package, including health insurance, sick (15 days), personal (3 days) and annual leave (22 days), paid State of MD holidays, supplemental retirement benefit stipend, tuition remission and other professional development opportunities.
