Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related experience. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements. The university offers market competitive salary and benefits. Grade NE1.Wage Minimum $17.84/hr. 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with PeopleSoft, BA, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Reconciling, Budgeting, and Cancer Clinical Trials preferred.

Position Description

Under direct supervision of the Financial Coordinator, Sr. and Associate Director, Cancer Trials, the Clinical Trials Financial Coordinator Post-Award will assume responsibility for invoicing Sponsors or their assigned CRO's for cancer clinical trial start-up fees, annual fees, invoiceable medical procedures, and close-out fees in Velos.  This position is also responsible for recording payments from Sponsors/CRO's to the appropriate study and reconciling the payment either by invoice or milestones in Velos. Other responsibilities include paying invoices received from University Medical Center for various medical procedures negotiated in the contract with the Sponsor; depositing checks received to PNC and recording those payments to the correct study in Velos; recording ACH deposits to the correct study in Velos; notifying Sponsored programs of invoices created and check payments posted in Velos for recording in PS; reconciling clinical trial speedtypes in BA to PeopleSoft monthly.  This position will also research issues regarding invoices and make corrections as needed.
