Job Summary
 

Provide financial aid counseling to students/supporters throughout the students' academic careers at the University.


Responsibilities
 
  • Meet with and counsel students and/or supporters, virtually or in-person, to advise on federal and state financial aid programs, eligibility requirements, and application processes.  
  • Assist students/parents with FAFSA submission, tax information and requirements, student loan eligibility information, etc.  
  • Assist with responding to service requests (phone, emails, tickets, appointments, etc.)  
  • Perform outreach to students regarding financial aid requirements.  
  • Maintain knowledge of all current federal and state regulations governing financial aid to ensure compliance.  
  • Collaborate with various campus partners/departments to provide accurate information for students.  
  • Represent the Financial Aid Office at University events.  
  • Engage students, supporters, campus and community partners by presenting compelling communication, both in-person and virtually.  

Required Qualifications
 

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience

  • Two (2) or more years of related work experience

Proposed Salary
 

$43,500

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
