Job Summary

Under direct guidance of senior researcher, the Field Researcher  applies acquired skills and knowledge of applicable research discipline to support field research projects of small to medium size and intermediate scope and complexity, including but not limited to research in environmental, public health, social or biological science disciplines.

Department Description

Our mission is to prepare students from culturally diverse backgrounds to assume leadership roles in nursing clinical practice, teaching, research, and community service by advancing knowledge and clinical excellence and disseminating it into practice and policy. Faculty members in this department are engaged in cutting-edge research that is improving the quality of care of persons with acute and chronic conditions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and one+ years of related experience and / or equivalent experience / training
• Working knowledge of safety, legal, cultural and regulatory requirements relative to field research responsibility. Working knowledge of research discipline, principles, concepts, analysis and / or operations being conducted at field / remote sites.
• Working knowledge of local customs and operations at field / remote sites.
• Demonstrates ability to work with a team, and to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Demonstrates attention to detail and organizational skills
• Demonstrates ability to work in ambiguous conditions
• Demonstrated communication skills with project team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships and partnerships with remote research partners
• Proficient research and analytical skills
• Experience conducting an exercise program or sports program
