Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm


Job Summary: The Field Education Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and organization of the constituencies and will manage the day-to-day operations of the field office.


Additional Department Summary: Coordinates approximately 600 student internships in community organizations and engages students simultaneously in both classroom and practice learning during the academic year and summer. Internship sites are located both nationally and internationally. Has multiple internship opportunities in Washington, D.C.

Reports directly to the Director of Field Education and is an integral part of the coordination and planning of the Field Education Program. With command of CSWE field standards, must initiate and develop processes that are efficient and accommodate the growth and the needs of all constituencies. Operates year-round to meet the needs of all constituencies.


Required Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and one year of experience.


Skills and Knowledge: Must be able to operate with a high-level of independence in a fast-paced and complex program environment as well as collaborate with faculty in program development, and must be detailed oriented, forward-thinking and flexible to meet the needs of an evolving program.


Preferred Qualifications: Masters and experience working in an internship or experiential learning program
