• Serves as the back-up to the Administrative Assistant in a fast-paced office environment
• Interacts with senior level university personnel, students, and the general population
• Performs administrative duties such as answering phones, faxing, scanning, copying and processing purchase vouchers,  compiling documents
• Willing to learn and work with new computer systems and applications
• Runs errands within the university campus buildings
• Other duties as assigned

UHD is one of the four distinct and separate components of the University of Houston System, which also includes the University of Houston, University of Houston-Clear Lake, and University of Houston-Victoria.  Instructional Sites operated by UHD are University of Houston-Downtown Northwest, University of Houston-Downtown at Lone Star College-Kingwood, and University of Houston-Downtown at Lone Star College-Woodlands.
