The Advanced Practice Practitioner is responsible for providing high quality primary medical care at the Duke Community Medicine Micro clinics under the supervision/in collaboration with the supervising physician within the scope of authority granted by the NC Board of Medical Directors. Provider sees all age groups and provides comprehensive care to patients ages 2 and up including preventative care, chronic disease management and acute care.

Duties include ordering, interpreting and communicating lab and imaging results. Clinics serve a patient population that is historically underserved, un - or underinsured, and frequently non-English speaking, and works collaboratively with Lincoln Community Health Center (local FQHC). Spanish language proficiency preferred. 

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Work requires completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program. State of North Carolina licensure is also required.

Experience

Work requires no previous experience. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
