General Description
The purpose of this position is to provide office support for the Falcon Success Center.
Essential Job Duties
1. Answering phone calls and taking messages, helping the callers, or transferring calls.
2. Checking and replying to e-mails.
3. Greeting students, faculty, and staff as they enter the FSC and acting as a liaison between guests and FSC staff.
4. Enter data into various computer programs.
5. Running errands on campus as needed.
6. Assisting with marketing efforts on campus and through social media outlets.
7. Assisting with events in the FSC and for the FSC around campus.
8. Assisting in other areas as needed.
9. Scheduling tutoring and success coaching appointments for students.
10. Checking in students present for appointments and introducing them to their tutor/success coach.
11. Maintaining the Falcon Success Center space by wiping surfaces and keeping the ground floor of the library tidy.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
1. Be self-directed and motivated.
2. Adhere to strict ethical and legal requirements concerning confidentiality and protecting information.
3. Must be detail oriented and able to multitask.
4. Ability to interact with students, faculty, and staff in a positive and effective way.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
6. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
