Position Description

What you’ll do:

  • Manage course delivery through administrative support tasks that include: updating the learning management system, track student work, liaise with prominent guests, coordinate audiovisual support, and organize in-class activities
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the faculty
  • Manage complex calendars, travel arrangements, expense reimbursements, and other administrative tasks
  • Proofread cases and papers, retrieve research resources, and submit materials for publishing and distribution on campus and globally
  • Coordinate events: communicate with guests, reserve rooms, order catering, and manage all relevant logistics
  • Prepare meeting documentation, manage filing systems, and maintain office inventory
  • Collaborate with fellow Faculty Support Specialists on projects and departmental activities
  • Move projects forward and continually look for ways to leverage faculty time
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required. BA/BS preferred, but not required.
  • 3+ years of administrative support or related customer service experience working in an administrative, clerical, executive support, coordination, or related professional capacity
  • Hands-on experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), or similar suites of programs such as those from Google and Apple. NOTE: As part of the interview process, you may be asked to complete a skills assessment that involves tasks related to the role utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, and slide shows.

Additional Information

This role is offered as a hybrid (some combination of onsite and remote) where you are required to be onsite at our Boston, MA-based campus 3 days per week. Specific days and schedules will be determined between you and your manager.
