Description:

Position Summary
The University of Illinois at Chicago (Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation) and the UI Hospital and Health Sciences System are undergoing a major Neurology expansion with a strong emphasis on building world-class clinical and multidisciplinary translational research programs. The Department has grown to include most sub-specialty areas and has an expanding footprint in translational, health data science, and artificial intelligence research.

Multiple faculty positions are available including general neurology and sub-specialties including Movement Disorders, Memory Cognitive Neurology, and Multiple Sclerosis (rank/tenure will be commensurate with experience). Generous start-up resources can be made available for all positions to qualified applicants with research interests.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Successful applicants are expected to establish and maintain vigorous clinical programs and/or externally funded research programs and participate in teaching.
  • Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications
    Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology and Rehabilitation required for all positions.
    Candidates should have strong academic interest and expertise/interest in leadership, research, teaching, and/or clinical service endeavors.
