Position Summary
The Department of Surgery at the University of Illinois Chicago is seeking Faculty (Open Rank)/Physician Surgeon to join the Division of Surgical Oncology.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the department with teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Provide clinical patient care.
  • Participate in clinical research.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications:
    Minimum Qualifications
    M.D. Degree, must have training in Breast or Surgical Oncology.
    Strong commitment to working as a team for the benefit of the patients.
    Ability to build a strong working relationship with medical oncology, radiation oncology, nursing, clinical trials, physical therapy, and survivorship.
    Patients are routinely presented at tumor boards and care is planned in a multidisciplinary fashion according to established guidelines.
