Basic Function:

  Kent State University at Trumbull invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track faculty position in Psychology beginning August 2024.

Examples of Duties:

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following: 

The successful candidate will be expected to teach a wide variety of undergraduate psychology courses. The course load is 15 credit hours (5 courses) each semester.

Minimum Qualifications:

  Candidates must have a Ph.D. in psychology or a Psy.D., although ABDs will be considered. 

Interest, ability, and experience in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion is required.

Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:

Teaching experience in different modalities (e.g., in person, online, hybrid, Zoom) is preferred.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

 Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
