KENT STATE UNIVERSITY, College of Applied and Technical Studies, SEEKS CANDIDATES FOR A NINE-MONTH, NON-TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITION based at the Ashtabula Campus TO TEACH IN AN ACEN ACCREDITED ASSOCIATE DEGREE NURSING PROGRAM, WHICH INCLUDES CLASSROOM AND NURSING CLINICAL INSTRUCTION.

Minimum Qualifications:

MASTER’S IN NURSING (MSN) WITH A SPECIALTY IN OBSTETRICS, PEDIATRICS, MENTAL HEALTH, CRITICAL CARE, AND/OR MEDICAL/SURGICAL NURSING REQUIRED.

Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:

PH.D. OR DNP PREFERRED. TEACHING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

 Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
