Varian Aria is our Recording and Verification system. Other systems such as Varian Velocity, BrainLab iPlan, Philips Pinnacle are also available. Two Philips MR scanners (1.5T and 3T) with MR simulation capability are also available at our main campus. UNMC offers a broad range of special procedures including VMAT, SRS/SBRT, TBI/TSE, IORT, and brachytherapy for a wide range of treatment sites (GYN/breast/prostate treatment).
The successful candidate will join an advanced department of 8 ABR-certified physics faculty, 8 radiation oncologist faculty, and 5 certified medical dosimetrists, and will provide medical physics coverage under the guidance of the Director of Physics.
