Grand Canyon University’s Colangelo College of Business (CCOB), Colangelo College of Business , is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach Economics.  We are especially interested in applicants who can strengthen the diversity of our academic community.

Please note, the economics faculty position is located at our main campus in Phoenix, AZ.

What you will do:

• Be engaging by preparing lectures that stimulate classroom discussions

• Bring economic concepts to life for undergraduate and graduate students

• Network to provide internships and job placements

• Continue to remain current in the field of management and effective teaching techniques. 

• Participates in faculty and CCOB meetings and College/University committee activities

• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

What you need:

• Minimum: Master’s in Economics

• Post-secondary experience teaching Economics/Finance courses.

• Industry experience in the application of economics.

Bonus Points:

• Preferred: PhD in Economics.

• Significant (5+ years desired), industry experience in the application of economics.

• Ability and experience teaching across disciplines (e.g. finance) is a plus.
