We are seeking a Faculty Chair in Psychology for the College of Doctoral Studies. Working under general guidance, the Faculty Chair has responsibility for the performance and productivity of all the full-time faculty to ensure instruction is complying with all compliance and processes to maintain student learning outcomes.

What you will do:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the full-time faculty classes.

• Oversee and ensures compliance with all university policies and government regulations in the day-to-day instructional classroom.

• Monitor processes and workflow and develops recommendations for improvement and ensures up-to-date documentation.

• Assist with any escalated issues that may arise, address complaints, and resolve problems.

• Maintain a teaching load of approximately two classes, in addition to a dissertation chair teaching load of approximately 3-5 learners.

• Other duties as assigned.

What you need:

• PhD in Psychology or a Psy D.

• Must have served at least one year as full-time faculty.

• Previous supervisory/management experience preferred.

• Must pass background investigation.

• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
