Faculty Affairs Manager

Manage the ongoing Faculty Affairs activities for the full-time faculty population of the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Manage faculty lifecycle milestones including onboarding, offboarding, reviews, and special Faculty Affairs projects as assigned. Independently lead projects to completion and ensure streamlined operations in coordination with other team members. Serve as liaison between faculty, department administrators, and school and University-wide offices. Respond to inquiries displaying a comprehensive knowledge of University and school policies and procedures.



Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience:
3+ years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proven ability to handle multiple priorities under deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism,attention to detail, and strong customer service orientation. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills. Ability to develop, implement, and interpret policies and procedures and effectively communicate sensitive information verbally and in writing to a diverse population. Good judgment, tact, diplomacy, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Ability to be creative and flexible in response to complex work situations. Ability to manage budgets. Knowledge of advanced functions for Google Suite and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).



In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $80,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
