Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Faculty Support Services (FSS), the Administrative Coordinator will provide primary administrative support for the Director of Faculty Support Services, the Associate Dean for Research & Faculty Development (ADRFD), the faculty appointments committee, and the center directors who do not have administrative staff. Associated responsibilities also include organizing and tracking all facets of any affiliated workshops, retreats, and lecture series, events, and faculty recruitment processes.
Conditions of Employment
Some night and weekend work may be required.
This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Several years (usually 2 or more) of relevant administrative experience
  • Proficient with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Suite
  • Demonstrates outstanding organizational, administrative, and customer service skills with a high degree of professionalism
  • Demonstrates strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills for developing effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external constituents
  • Experience working with confidential and sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Higher Education experience
  • Dean’s Office level or Corporate C-Suite level support experience
  • Experience planning and coordinating events
  • Experience booking travel and lodging

Advertised Pay Range Up to $45,000 commensurate with experience.
