Position Highlights

This Extension Assistant will be responsible for inputting screening results and referrals into the program software and will work under the direction of the Developmental/Sensory Program. This position is grant funded and is dependent upon the conditions of grant funding. The position is housed at the Pinal County Cooperative Extension Office in Casa Grande, AZ.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Logs in and out of computer entering records into the program software, verifying data entered for accuracy, and follows up on any additions or deletions.
  • Compiles, sorts, files data entered, prints out reports on weekly/monthly basis as needed.
  • Follow up with families on screenings already performed by staff.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of typing and data entry procedures and methods.
  • Skill in operating electronic keyboard. Ability to communicate effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
  • EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience may be required.
  • EXPERIENCE Prior work experience not required.
