Minimum Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in an academic advising setting within higher education.
Special Conditions
The department is especially interested in candidates who possess a Master’s degree and/or
candidates who have academic advising or success coaching experiences.
Work Schedule
Monday- Friday
8:00a.m. -4:30p.m.
May require work beyond normal work schedule to include some nights and weekends.

Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. Works collaboratively with key personnel/academic departments to develop and manage outreach efforts, recruiting strategies, employer relations and program integrity for Experiential Learning Credit (ELC) opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Serves as instructor of record and maintains course content for Experiential Learning Credit Portfolio Development undergraduate and graduate level courses.
Duties & Responsibilities
Mentors’ students through the Experiential Learning Credit portfolio development/submission process and collaborates with faculty on the evaluation process.
Duties & Responsibilities
Represents the Experiential Learning Credit (ELC) at student recruitment events, as designated by director.
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintains the Experiential Learning Credit (ELC)database as it relates to catalog of pre-assessed ELC and student ELC progress/credit awards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Serves as liaison to faculty and reviews and determines the appropriate corporate training, open educational resources, and other relevant experiences for experiential learning credit.
