The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine, NIH StrokeNet division is seeking a full-time Executive Staff Assistant.  The incumbent will be under general supervision from a designated administrator, assist in research, planning and coordination of specialized and complex administrative, operational or education activities in order to implement major changes.  This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.


Essential Functions
  • Provide administrative support to the NCC Directors and Project Managers regarding the operational management of the center.
  • Document collection, tracking, and follow-up with satellite sites and clinical performance sites.
  • Manage network communications including but not limited to answering questions, directing telephone calls, providing teleconference information, assembling meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Identify programmatic, operational and system problems and implement solutions.
  • Special projects as required.
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with one (1) year experience; -OR- Associate's degree with three (3) years’ experience; -OR- five (5) years’ experience.
  • Experience must be in high-level administrative support.
