Does defining a new position and developing and refining processes put your creative mind in gear?  The Division of Human Resources & Organizational Effectiveness is waiting for you to continue your career with the Academic Executive Recruiting program as an Executive Search Specialist I.  What will you do?  You will be responsible for routine and specialized executive search duties.  You will be bringing your knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing programs, your outstanding communication and organizational skills and your excellent interpersonal skills to interact with candidates and stakeholders involved in the searches.  

What will you do?

Perform routine and specialized search duties

Schedule interviews, reserve rooms, make hotel and travel reservations, develop itineraries, order catering for events associated with the searches

Schedule meetings, monitor timelines and communicate with stakeholders, such as search chairs and committees

Communicate, provide guidance and update university rules, Standard Administrative Procedures, processes and other executive recruiting matters

Maintain confidentiality

Assist in the onboarding of new executives 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

One year of relevant experience, including hospitality, customer service, human resources, sales or related area

The well qualified candidate will have Human Resources and event coordination experience.  We also highly value knowledge and experience with Texas A&M University policies and rules. 

Other things to know

This is an in-office in College Station, TX opportunity and is not available for remote, work-at-home or hybrid. 

Salary:  $50,100 annually
