Executive Director, Executive Education and Strategic Partnerships

Creighton University is seeking to hire an Executive Director for Executive Education and Strategic Partnerships in the College of Professional Education and Continuing Education Department.

 

This critical role leads the strategic development and growth of the University’s Executive Education offerings. Develops strategies to create awareness and secure revenue generating agreements with industry, corporations, businesses, and members of the community.  Oversees the full cycle of the programs – from securing partner agreements, designing and implementing the programs to reviewing the progress and reporting. Will require some travel between the Omaha and Phoenix campuses.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Development:

  • Leading the strategic development and growth of the University’s Executive Education offerings, ensuring program development achieves growth targets and aligns with CPCE Vision and business plan.
  • Responsibility for building and implementing revenue generating programs resulting in an increased year-over-year net revenue contribution and which align with the university’s mission, goals, and budget.
  • Use data to support the development of new programs and initiatives to enroll, support, and engage a diverse and qualified student/learner population.
  • Develop and implement a targeted program-specific recruitment strategy for each Executive program.   Strategy must resonate with the priorities of the targeted audience of learners.
  • Develop new corporate and business partnerships and expand upon/cultivate existing partnerships.  Engage to identify in-demand programming aligned with the employer’s needs, and promote CPCE programs.

 

Networking and Collaboration:

  • Networking, building professional relationships, and securing partner agreements between the university and industry, corporations, businesses, and members of the community. 
  • Works with internal Colleges and Schools in support of fostering the external partnerships, and expectation of collaboration to develop and implement programming with faculty and staff across the college and university
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with clients, community workforce development organizations, University faculty and staff, and alumni

 

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Identify key business performance indicators in enrollment, retention, and success and establish routine and consistent reporting.
  • Monitoring the progress of new and existing executive education partnership programs, professional development, and training programs, includes closely evaluating program results at the end of each quarter and writing progress reports to be shared with CPCE and University leadership. 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, equivalent combination of education and/or work experience considered.
  • 5+ years of related work experience required.
  • Ideal candidate will have work experience in one or more of the following areas: higher education strategic partnership recruitment or management, workforce development, continuing education, training, program development, product marketing, and/or sales practices. 
  • Experience with program development in a corporate, business or workforce education and development environment preferred.
  • Experience with managing non-credit courses and reaching program enrollment outcomes preferred.
  • Ability to create reporting on programming for internal and external partners.
  • Knowledge of Canvas Catalogues or similar customer or project management software preferred
